Use Cases

Web interface The [securemsp portal] allows project team members, clients & business partners to access shared documents & files – the easy & secure solution for the exchange of calculations, construction plans, marketing material, digital artwork, patient files, or radiographs.

FTP/SOAP Use the various TeamShare interfaces (e.g. SOAP or FTP) for cooperations with external service providers, e.g. as a secure & transparent solution for your international electronic data interchange (EDI) with vendors or suppliers.

Encryption

Features

Upload
  • Multi file and directory upload; maximum file size: 512MB
  • Integrity check based on MD5 checksums
  • Files will only be saved to the TeamShare directory once the upload is fully completed.
  • Same-named files are not overwritten, but saved with a name extension.
Download
  • Multi file and directory download
  • The default limit per download is 250 files and can be configured individually if required.
  • Multi file or directory downloads are provided as ZIP files.
Delete
  • Multi file and directory deletion
  • The default limit per deletion is 250 files and can be configured individually if required.

User Management & Access

  • Internal: Active Directory integration; Access via Windows shares
  • External: Access via the [securemsp portal] using TeamShare accounts
  • Privileges on the portal (upload/download/delete) are granted individually for each user.
  • Authorized users are selected individually for each shared directory.
  • All portal actions (upload/download/delete) are logged including username, time, and filename.
